I love my corsets so much that I prefer to meet their new owners, just to make sure the fit is right, show you how to lace it for best effect and to check that you will carefully store it flat in a draw (and not toss it in the bottom of your wardrobe). After all my corsets are for life not just one occasion!

Because my corsets are different they can be worn for any type of ‘posh do’ or for a more casual social gathering. Team them with a dressy skirt or smart trousers and they will take you to any evening do. Or you could dress them down with jeans or a casual skirt and they’re perfect for summer barbecues or drinks with friends at a bar.

How to order your corset

Okay you want one, so the first thing to do is choose your fabric. Go to the Liberty print website and decide which one you want. There are lots so you might need to browse with a cup of coffee! Want something a little quirky? Look at the American cotton or Makower range at Ditto Fabrics.

Now contact me to arrange an appointment, I will check what size you need, whether we should bone it with polyester boning or metal spiral boning (metal spiral boning costs a little more but in certain cases will prolong the supporting life of your corset, so it’s well worth it).  I will order your fabric, make your corset then invite you to my studio to try it on when it is finished.

Then it’s all yours, treasure it, enjoy it, but most of all wear it. Please send me a picture of you in it, I do like to see my corsets are getting out and about!
